This disease can be caused due to various reasons like cutting of umbilical cord, cutting of pulse by blunt weapon, injury etc. In five-seven days after cutting the navel, the navel dries up and falls off. If there is juice, pus or sores from the navel without drying, then treatment is needed.

  • Calendula Q mixed with 20 drops of two ounces of warm water three times daily to wash the navel and 20 drops of Q mixed with half an ounce of olive oil applied externally to the navel three times daily will dry up navel sores.
